Knaresborough Women’s Group (KWG) was started in September 2024, bringing together almost 20 women in The Castle Inn (since closed), we quickly decided to continue as a discussion group & a subject for discussion was mutually agreed for the next meeting.

Over time the group was forced to change as some women wanted a less formal agenda. They peeled away from the original group & now operate as a separate ‘sister’ group which successfully hosts 2 regular social groups for evenings out in Knaresborough. They have a Facebook page & a listing on the Whatsapp community group.

The original KWG has since gone on to change & grow. With this new website we are changing & growing once again. We hope you enjoy it.

Going forward we are always open to ideas for new groups, shared activities & events. We’d like for the group to bring local women together & to reflect various interests.

We can host new groups & advertise them OR we can help with event management for one-off events.
